The invention relates to pump engineering, in particular to high-pressure pumps with structural changes of plunger pairs.
The aim of the invention is to increase the level of pressure developed by the pump.
Figure 1 shows a plunger pump in longitudinal section; figure 2 - embodiment of a plunger pump with a metal deformable sealing sleeve of the plunger.
The high-pressure plunger pump contains a housing 1, a cover 2 with an opening 3, blocked by a spring loaded by a valve 4 with a shutter 5 of the discharge valve. The housing 1 and the lid 2 are connected with the formation of a suction cavity 6 filled with the pumped medium to accommodate the plunger 7 and a sleeve made of two parts 9 and 10 covering it with a loaded spring 8. The plunger 7 is connected with a reciprocating drive (not shown), and the inner Part 9 of the sleeve has a bore 11 for interfacing with the plunger 7 to form a working chamber 12 and a gap seal and is mounted with limited axial movement to form, together with the end face 13, the cover 2 of the suction valve a. The outer part 10 of the sleeve is provided with a shoulder for axial fixing of the support ring 14, dressed on the sleeve and serving as a support for the spring 8, the other end of which rests on a sleeve 15 fixed in the housing 1, through the opening of which a plunger 7 sealed in this area with a stuffing box packing 16, fixed thrust ring 17 with an external thread 18.
The inner part 9 of the sleeve on the side facing the drive is provided with an additional bore 19, the diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the main bore 11, to form, when paired with the plunger 7, an annular chamber and place a contact seal on the plunger 7, including rings 20 and 21, between which a cylindrical spring 22 is installed for pressing the set of alternating stuffing rings 23, 24 to the rear support ring 25, fixed by the locking ring 26.
To reduce the stress concentration in the sleeve, the main 11 and additional 19 bores have a surface 27 arched in the axial section of the sleeve part 9 in the connection zone. Ring 20 has a flat end surface 28 in the contact zone with spring 22 and a rounded surface in the contact zone with the arcuate surface 27 of the part 9 sleeves, as shown in figure 1.
The invention provides that the contact seal of the plunger 7 can be made in the form of a sleeve of a metal sealing sleeve 30 installed in an additional bore of the inner part 9, having an annular groove 31 on the outer surface to form, together with the inner surface of the additional bore 29, an annular chamber in communication with the mating zone plunger 7 - sleeve using a radial hole 32 made in the body of the sleeve 30 from the side facing the gap seal of the plunger 7, as shown on 2. In the area of the end mating of the sleeve 30 and the inner part 9 of the sleeve along the plane 33, a soft packing 34 is provided, the sealing sleeve 30 has an annular flange 35 on the side facing the drive having axial through holes for passage of fixing screws 36 screwed into the threaded holes 37 ring 38, made in the form of a nut, mounted on a portion of the threaded surface 39 of the inner part 9 of the sleeve.
The pump operates as follows.
When the reciprocating movement of the plunger 7, the volume of the working chamber 12 alternately increases (suction stroke) and decreases (discharge stroke).
When the suction stroke is performed in the working chamber 12, a vacuum forms and the sleeve under the action of a pressure differential between the suction cavity 6 and the working chamber 12, compressing the spring 8, moves away from the end face 13 of the cover 2 and the pumped medium from the cavity 6 fills the working chamber 12.
When the discharge stroke is performed, the sleeve, in particular the end face of its inner part 9, comes into contact with the end face 13 of the cover 2, and the pumped medium from the working chamber 12 through the hole 3 when the shutter leaves due to the pressure drop. 5 discharge valve plunger 7 is displaced to the consumer. The plunger 7 is sealed with a set of stuffing rings 23, 24 or a sealing sleeve 30, which, covering the plunger 7, is deformed by the pressure in the annular chamber formed in the zone of the annular groove 31, while the pressure in this annular chamber is supplied from the gap seal of the plunger 7 along the radial the hole 32. The heat generated during the stroke is taken from the outer part of the sleeve 10 by the pumped medium in the suction cavity 6.

Claim
1. A high-pressure plunger pump comprising a housing, a cover with a discharge valve centrally located therein, connected to form a suction cavity filled with the pumped medium to accommodate the plunger and a spring-loaded sleeve surrounding it, the plunger being connected to the drive and installed with reciprocating motion, and the sleeve has a bore for interfacing with the plunger to form a gap seal and is installed with limited axial movement to form in features with the end face of the suction valve cover (characterized in that, in order to increase the pressure level developed by the pump, the sleeve on the side facing the drive is equipped with an additional bore coaxial with its bore, the diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the main race point, for the formation when pairing with the plunger of the annular chamber, and the plunger is equipped with an additional contact seal located in the specified annular chamber.

2. The pump according to claim 1, characterized in that, in order to reduce the stress concentration in the sleeve, the main and additional bores have an arcuate surface in the axial section of the sleeve in the joint zone.
